Cohen’s warning ignored

Watching the televised testimony of Michael Cohen on Feb. 27 involved listening to a high-level mob “fixer” finally deciding that he’d had his fill of illegal actions he’d been directed to take by his boss, President Donald Trump.

This was Cohen’s opportunity for redemption. The path of Cohen’s greed to make himself rich by his connections to a corrupt president had finally come home to bite him and he’s going to pay the piper. Cohen learned that risks he’s taken working for Trump have consequences.

Republicans probably hated every second of Cohen’s emotional testimony. Republican senators’ testimony was anything but emotional. Instead, it was like they were screaming as the horse left the barn (with facts) and there was absolutely nothing they could do. It made them appear fools who were continuing to be the same stooges for Trump that Cohen’s been. Observing blunders of the Republican senators who attempted and failed to speak rationally was nothing less than laughable. Did any Republican senators ever once mention a single redeeming quality about Trump during their comments or even mention his name? The answer was obvious: No. Documents don’t lie.
