CMR on right side of history

There were 13 House Republicans that voted to uphold their oaths to our Constitution and override President Trump’s emergency declaration. One very significant vote was cast by Washington Congressional District 5 Representative Cathy McMorris Rodgers.

She was fourth at the top of House leadership, under Speaker Ryan … and was deposed in lieu of Liz Cheney.

Sadly we voters here had no information about her loss of a leadership position until after she won re-election.

She voted for separation of powers delineated in Article One of the U.S. Constitution.

I hope she and other moderate Republicans may be trying to get back on the correct side of history.
