GOP loves mainstream media

The next time you hear a Trump Republican railing against “fake news” and the “liberal media,” remind them of this inconvenient little fact, and by fact I mean House Republicans read it into the Congressional Record:

Near the close of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform’s Michael Cohen hearing February 27, two or three Republicans asked that many news articles and reports be “read into the record without objection,” and without objection they were. Those news items were printed or reported by: The Washington Post (three articles cited); CNN; the Los Angeles Times; Vanity Fair; Mother Jones; Huffington Post.

Nary a Fox, Infowars, Brietbart, Limbaugh or Daily Caller to be found.

They may hide it behind their backs, but when it comes to actual journalism even hypocritical Republicans know where to find it.
