Friday’s openings: a live-action ‘Dumbo’

A bit of Disney and a movie starring Matthew McConaughey in a role he was born to play are among the movies listed in the national movie-release schedule:

“Dumbo”: Tim Burton directed this live-action version of the classic, 1941 Disney animated film . He’s all ears.

“The Beach Bum” : Matthew McConaughey stars (according to the IMDB) as “A rebellious stoner named Moondog (who) lives life by his own rules.” Written and directed by Harmony Korine … and enough said.
