The party of hypocrites

“Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican.” This was Reagan’s 11th Commandment.

Yet again and again, Trump attacks, bullies, slanders or makes up lies about another Republican - a mob-boss style presidency.

Attacking McCain again, after he’s been dead for seven months, is just over the line. Yet why is there no outcry from Republicans in Congress? Why are Republicans so spineless? Why is the public not demanding Congress censure this loud-mouthed, petty, mentally ill president? Since Jan. 20, 2017 we are bombarded daily with nothing but chaos, lies, undermining our institutions, yet Republicans in Congress look the other way. Why is CMR not speaking out?

The answer is simple: power and party and Trump over the country. Yet Donald Trump is not a Republican, not a conservative, and most definitely not a Christian. Mitch McConnell said, “The single most important thing for the GOP to achieve is to make President Obama fail, and be a one term President.” John Boehner said, “We are going to do anything we can to kill, slow down, or stop Obama’s agenda.” McConnell later said, “No deals will be made, as long as that man is in the White House.”

Republicans have no governing skills, so their tactic is to attack. Going back 100 years, that has always been how they operate, even going so far as trying to ban the Irish from immigrating here because they said we had too many Catholics. The GOP has morphed in to the party of hate, and bigotry, and anti-immigrants, yet we are all from somewhere else.
