No one likes a spoiler
Since “Avengers: Endgame” came out this past week, many people have had the movie spoiled for them. Fans have been anxiously waiting to see what happens to their favorite characters for over a year now, and nothing is worse than hearing the ending before they see it on the big screen. People have taken extreme measures to prevent spoilers like blocking hashtags on social media, blocking notifications on their phones, and simply not using the internet.
Sadly, it didn’t work because the ones that saw it on Thursday night still found a way to spoil it for their friends. Having someone spoil a movie like “Avengers: Endgame” is like being forced to open Christmas presents before Christmas. It is not as exciting. I cannot wrap my head around why someone would do that to someone else. They think it is comical, but if they were in the others’ shoes they would want to be treated differently. The message to take from this is next time you think of spoiling a movie for someone, don’t do it.
