Thank you for the story on ROW Adventure’s kayaking in Cuba (“Navigating Cuba,” April 28). I took that tour in 2018 with several friends from Spokane. After hearing horror stories about Cuba all of my adult life, I found that Cubans are really just “normal” people, living a simple life, held back by a big rich neighbor holding a grudge from long ago.

I encourage you to go see for yourself. Maybe we can help change the future of Cuba, and the world, for the better.
