Voting that improves democracy

Imagine a country torn apart by two warring sides. Divided, citizens are given labels to identify which side they stood upon. Meanwhile, the reality is we are complex beings with unique political and moral views. Most of us are more alike than we are different. But come election day, we are forced to stand on one side of the aisle or the other.

What if there was a better way?

Ranked Choice Voting is the solution people. You don’t just vote for one candidate. You rank the candidates (1st, 2nd, etc.)

Three key benefits:

1. It provides more options to the voter. With RCV, independents have a legitimate chance at competing for positions.

2. It reduces negative campaigning. With RCV, candidates are incentivized to reach out and talk to the people who may already support their opponents. If they use attack ads, they bring down not only their opponent but also themselves.

3. It eliminates the spoiler affect. With RCV, you are not negatively impacted by a similar candidate who may steal your votes.

Ranked Choice Voting empowers you, the voter, to have a stronger voice in the way your country is run.
