Insuring unplanned pregnancy

This letter is for those who are holding their noses and voting for Trump solely because of the abortion issue.

It may be helpful in your voting decision to know that in the first two years after the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) was enacted, abortions in our country dropped by twenty percent (Source is CDC).

Apparently, ACA health insurance policies require maternity/newborn care. Makes a big difference if an unplanned pregnancy is covered by your insurance, it seems, when choosing which path to take. One has to wonder about all the uninsured young women still out there and how much better we could do if they were all insured.
