Exposing stem cells

Many thanks putting the proper end to the story of stem cells (“The truth about stem cell therapy,” April 14). It was easy to buy into this story if you have non-ending pain like neuropathy … like I have had. The idea is that human cellular material could “go to work” and fix the problem. I tried three different attempts, each one citing a new “source” of the cells. None of them worked.

Faced with failure, they generally tried other methods, such as “Tens” treatments. Altogether about $12,000 is what I spent. Thanks for blowing the whistle.
