Republican voters’ values
As the current polls show that 91% of Republican voters support Donald Trump, it calls me to examine the core values of the Republican Party.
I come from a home of strong Republican Christian supporters and voters and when I have posed the question to my family, “What values does Donald Trump have the you are in support of?” the room falls silent and vague arguments ensue.
Donald Trump has been involved in 4,095 lawsuits, some of which are from unpaid bills and unpaid compensation for services rendered for his personal business.
The U.S. intelligence community, without a shadow of a doubt, has proven 100% the fact of Russian involvement in the 2016 election and the 2018 congressional elections, e.g. the Florida election. (See Newsweek, May 11, 2019.)
Trump then called his buddy Putin and they had a nice long guffaw disparaging the U.S. intelligence community and Robert Mueller’s serious findings.
Now that 800 former federal prosecutors, across party lines, call to the carpet the puppet Barr, who easily dances into the chaos so loved by the Trump administration, it is more than disheartening that 91 percent of intelligent folks support him.
