Vestal missing whole truth
Shawn Vestal is hilarious. A few weeks ago he writes a column on how the mayor is terrible because he does not enforce the laws that the City Council made up for a sanctuary city (“Spokane has political standoff of its own,” Jan. 27, 2019). They did not want to allow the federal government to check on buses for illegals. Excuse me Shawn, but isn’t the City Council’s made-up law not following the federal law, which supersedes city law?
Then Friday he writes a column on how supposedly President Trump obstructed justice on a phony claim that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government in the past election (“800 letter signers defending democracy,” May 10, 2019).
It is a good thing that Mr. Vestal is not a real reporter and just an opinion columnist, otherwise he would not have a job. Look at the whole truth, not just a sliver, and then make a real conclusion.
