What are we paying for?

This letter is written in response to “Paid to serve, not to run,” (May 24).

Correct me if I’m wrong here, but did we not elect Rep. Matt Shea to be our full-time state legislator?

Representative, if you cannot devote 100% of your time and effort to serve the people of Washington’s 4th Legislative District while traveling all over the northwest to institute the state of Liberty, you are doing a complete disservice to your constituents.

Do the right thing and resign, if you truly believe in your calling.

No other business allows its employees to get paid for a full-time job, while getting only a fraction of the time and effort.

But I suppose we should be happy we’re not getting any more of you than we already do.
