Spokane’s new leadership

It appears that we will now have new leadership in both the Mayor’s Office and at the City Council. Fortunately, with this new leadership come fresh ideas in the management of our city.

In the Nov. 2 newspaper’s “Roundtable,” there were a few spiteful letters sent in from several people who were quite judgmental based on emotional opinions. No names will be mentioned as I am not as uncivil as the tone of those letters.

Only time will tell how the new administration will fare in solving the most pressing problems we now endure.

I wish the new mayor and the City Council president much success in their future endeavors in managing the city of Spokane. I hope that those who did not vote for them will hold judgment until they have had the chance to implement their agenda.

Kudos to Mr. Ben Stuckart for his gracious concession speech on the night of the election.
