A win for the community

I think we have an opportunity for poetic justice in our local elections.

Since Cindy Wendle chose to concede to Breean Beggs for City Council president, I have had this fantasy outcome. She runs for his vacated seat on the council. They work together for four years while she learns from his vast experience as a civil rights attorney. He learns also from her, as that’s who he is. We benefit as a community seeing this model for bipartisan, smart leadership.

Win/win/win.
