I’m stumped

I have read a few letters to the editor that defend Trump. I still don’t get it. They claim the media is at fault for daily reporting of Trump’s idiotic tantrums and conspiracy theories. How can they not report his daily idiocies? He is not only a terrible president, he is a sad human being.

So am I to gather you Trump supporters will tolerate disgraceful behavior because you like the few things he’s “accomplished” that he promised in a campaign? How can you overlook the facts about Trump? He got caught, that’s right caught, bribing a foreign president to investigate Biden, a political opponent. It really is that simple.

Not only that, he, the president, publicly harassed an expert of Ukraine and an ambassador of the United States. Was that really necessary? Why didn’t he just recall her quietly without ruining her reputation? Do you seriously approve of that? What about the facts that others were involved in pushing Ukraine into investigating? Sure, President Zelensky says there was no pressure. Would you tell on a bully? Trump’s personal attorney Giuliani is a whole other story.

I’m sure there are are many “never Trumpers” who really want to try to understand why Trump supporters still believe in him after everything he has done. Please don’t say it’s the media’s fault. They only report what the Trumpster does daily. And what he does daily is incompetent, idiotic, authoritarian, impulsive, infantile and corrupt.
