Change without baggage

I have worked many years in downtown Spokane. The homeless issue is significant but there are other problems as well. Drug transactions are common around the bus terminal. Rarely is there any sign of police. Over the years Spokane has evolved from a can do city that hosted a World”s Fair to a city that at times seems third world.

Things could be better. Check out Boise, Idaho. Beautiful, clean and safe downtown. Spokane needs to do something different. Take a walk around downtown. If you like what you see then Ben Stuckart is probably your person for mayor. Albeit Mr. Stuckart seems more in tune with Seattle and California than Spokane.

Should you want significant change then vote for change. Nadine Woodward is your person for mayor. A breath of fresh air with no political baggage. You may even see some civility return to city hall. Give her a chance. What have you got to lose?
