Missing at the forum

Nadine Woodward, Cindy Wendle, Tim Benn and Andy Rathbun were no-shows at the Candidate Climate Change Forum held at Gonzaga on the Oct. 2. I think it takes courage to show up and give your differing point of view. Real leaders shouldn’t be afraid to express their opinions on an issue that many of us care deeply about.

The Spokesman-Review invites original letters on local topics of public interest. Your letter must adhere to the following rules:

No more than 250 words
We reserve the right to reject letters that are not factually correct, racist or are written with malice.
We cannot accept more than one letter a month from the same writer.
