Mayors shouldn’t learn on the job

The October snow has reminded me of how critical it is that we elect a proven and experienced leader, like Ben Stuckart, as mayor.

For a role as important as mayor, our city cannot afford to have someone who wants to learn on the job. I can’t imagine waking up to city-wide power outages, multiple fires and heaps of snow and having only a former television personality at the helm.

Reporting on a crisis and guiding a city through a crisis are two very different things. We should not gamble with Woodward.
