Shunning a hero

Aren’t there enough problems in our world without religions trying to shame one of our hometown heroes for being born differently?

You have a lot of nerve calling out someone because of whom they love. You are teaching our young people to shun our fellow humans instead of embracing their amazing accomplishments. We aren’t all Christians and we growing weary of your Bible quotes.

Isn’t it time to update some of your passages and bring yourselves into the 20th century?
