Stuckart is not a hero

I find the Spokesman-Review’s depiction of Nadine Woodward versus Ben Stuckart deplorable.

The S-R does not present just the facts, but colors their articles with biased opinion - mostly negative toward Nadine while Ben is painted as a hero.

What I have seen of him is more road diets which equals more traffic, business people not listened to, and more drug-induced homelessness. Spokane is the third-highest crime city in Washington state thanks to the kinder and friendlier Spokane attitude to tie the hands of the law enforcement people. Dope is openly smoked on the streets. Drugs are trafficked in our libraries. At the downtown library you have to pass through a screen of dope smoke.

I would prefer to have people held accountable for their behavior and also be responsible for themselves. There is plenty of help in this town for the people who are residents, of which 70% are not residents of Spokane, according the the authorities that I have spoken with. Ben Stuckart is mostly interested in 15% of the people (minority population of Spokane), whereas Nadine Woodward is interested in 100% of our residents.

Nadine speaks the truth, an illegal is not an undocumented person, they are here illegally. People who get shelter should also get help to get off of whatever is interfering with their ability to get back on their feet and contribute to society. Nadine Woodward will be honest, listen to the community and do what is best for our community. A vote for her will be a vote for a better Spokane.
