Unqualified candidates

Would you go to a physician who has no experience treating your specific need? Would you send your child to a teacher who has never taught anyone or anything? Would you hire an electrician who has never wired anything? Would you allow a mechanic who has never worked on an engine to repair your car? Would you ask someone to build you a house who has never even put a nail into a board?

If you answered no to these simple questions, then why would you consider voting for the candidates for Spokane mayor and City Council president who have a total of zero experience in public service? Let us examine how voting for a candidate with no experience has worked out. Example one: Donald Trump.

We need proven leadership from candidates who care deeply about our city. While we may not agree with all of their policies, they are thoughtful and are the clear choice if we want to avoid the pitfalls of on-the-job learning. Ben Stuckart and Breean Beggs bring a caring compassionate approach to solving Spokane’s problems. Nadine Woodward and Cindy Wendle have zero experience solving city issues. Let’s not get trumped again.
