Fonda’s nonsense

Yes, Jane, like you I am scared for our democracy, for our ability to live together across lines of race, class and religion (“How to take our country back,” Jane Fonda, Aug. 31). However, the problem lies with your side. Your extreme hatred for everything conservative, Republican and Trump is ridiculous. Why can’t you just disagree?

When you told Sharon that her son would lose his health care because of his pre-existing condition under Trump’s plan, it was a total lie. As late as May 16, 2019, Trump along with virtually all Republicans support pre-existing condition coverage, and they always have. But what do you expect from someone who went to Hanoi in 1972 and celebrated with the communists as opposed to our soldiers and especially the prisoners of war there?
