Anti-gun scare tactics

In the Aug. 25 Spokesman-Review, Shawn Vestal, that shining mouthpiece of liberal garbagespeak, took off on another rant against the Second Amendment, Republicans, the NRA, Cathy McMorris Rodgers, gun dealers and law-abiding citizens again. He seems to feel that Republicans, backed financially by the NRA, are singly responsible for the mass shootings because they refuse to enact more (ineffective) gun laws. All I have to say to you, Shawn, about your guns laws is two words: Chicago, Illinois.

Calling NRA chief Wayne LaPierre “a lunatic arms dealer” is not only incorrect, but shows your hateful attitude. And how about the hypocrisy you and your liberal friends show by denouncing the NRA for backing pro-Second Amendment politicians, while rich liberal billionaire from New York, Mr. Blumenthal was allowed to come to Washington state and donate thousands of dollars for the campaign to enact more useless gun legislation on Washington residents.

You also used the liberal standard “assault weapons,” which anyone with a brain knows are not allowed for sale to the public and haven’t been since the 1930s when such sales were banned.

Oh, and I would like to see this 100-round double-drum magazine you speak of, and which weapons it fits onto. More liberal B.S., intended to fool and scare non-gun-owners into buying into the gun law charade.
