Pre-existing lip service

I was surprised that the Spokesman printed not one, but two letters saying that Republicans will protect pre-existing conditions. I realize they all SAY they will, but are right now in the middle of a federal lawsuit filed in Texas seeking to make the entire ACA (Obamacare) unconstitutional. Mandatory coverage for pre-existing conditions is a major feature of the ACA, and will go away if this Republican lawsuit succeeds. Our DOJ is doing nothing to fight this lawsuit and our president has stated many times he would like to see the ACA overturned.

I realize the Spokesman has a responsibility to print differing views and opinions, but truly misleading statements should have at least a disclaimer if printed.
