Christianity opposes socialism

I am responding to Pete Scobby’s letter that he wrote about Allen Marsh’s letter. Mr. Scobby mentions his Christ is a progressive socialist; certainly you are not inferring that Jesus is a communist are you? Progressive socialism is a dictatorial classless society where the state owns everything. I don’t believe this is what Jesus had in mind.

You tell Mr. Marsh to love his neighbor as himself; this is Christianity not socialism. Socialism is coveting your neighbor’s property, which is what we’re not supposed to do according to one of the Ten Commandments (Exodus, chapter 20).

You say suffer the little children doesn’t mean to lock them up. Does suffer the little children mean to abort them? You liberals amaze me ho you skirt this issue.

Do you really want a socialist government? Be careful what you vote in. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10 it says the one who will not work will not eat. This is opposite of socialism.
