Stronger reaction needed

All the news is about coronavirus, I would like to know how many people have been killed or hurt in car crashes wile texting or talking on their phones. It has been proven that it is as dangerous as drinking and driving, but I see people doing it every day, so why isn’t the penalty the same?

If the state reacted to it the same as the coronavirus we might be able to put a end to it.
