Fishing closure

Once again a state agency (I’m sure under the direction of the governor) has shown how absurd they can become.

I am referring to the closure of all recreational fishing and using the excuse that the boat launches are crowded with people and crowds of people lining the beaches fishing from shore. Those comments are patently false this time of year and I can only assume the director has no clue what the conditions are at the beaches and boat launches on this side of the state.

If there is a problem on the West Side of the state (highly unlikely), close those areas, not ours. Typical government and their one-size-fits-all mentality. There is no way fishermen can spread the virus in the great outdoors when not in groups, and another example of this governor unable to use a little common sense.
