Don’t blame Inslee

I walk my dog past the Liberty Lake boat launch every day, and I can assure Garry Ovnicek (“One size doesn’t fit all,” April 6) that until the gates were finally locked, if the weather was half decent, the boat launch was packed with people. Some were launching their boats, but many more were lined up elbow-to-elbow along the shore, fishing and tossing their trash, cigarette butts and fish guts all over the place.

I understand how frustrating the closures are for Garry, but Governor Inslee is doing what he thinks is best to keep us alive.

I worry that other sportsmen like Garry might read his letter and decide to vote against Governor Inslee in the upcoming election. That would be a huge mistake as we will never find anyone better at protecting us and the great outdoors than Governor Inslee.
