Kudos to teachers

COVID-19 has yanked the rug out from under us, sent us spinning in the air and dropped us hard on the ground. Ouch. I am tutoring some students that go to SCC. They got spun around and dropped like everyone else and now they have to become online students and their teachers have to become online teachers.

Today I saw the online classes their teachers had instantly and frantically put together. I was very impressed with the quality of the online programs they have developed. I know teachers who spent their spring vacations preparing for next quarter rather than recovering from the stress of ending a quarter without seeing their students.

This is a hard time for everyone, and we need to give a bow to those who have stepped up and kept our society going. Thank the teachers for digging in and doing what had to be done.
