Take back your liberty

Wake Up Americans! It is time to take back your life, liberty and happiness!

Your Washington governor’s arbitrary shutdown of state parks, campgrounds, fishing in lakes, rivers, gun stores has gone on long enough! Call or write your state representatives and tell them to get this stuff open!

For those of you worried about dying from this virus, remember, about 4,500 people die annually in Spokane County of all causes — about 400 monthly. We have had 20 or 30 virus deaths so far. You are more likely to die in a car wreck!

The Spokesman-Review invites original letters on local topics of public interest. Your letter must adhere to the following rules:

  • No more than 250 words
  • We reserve the right to reject letters that are not factually correct, racist or are written with malice.
  • We cannot accept more than one letter a month from the same writer.
  • With each letter, include your daytime phone number and street address.
  • The Spokesman-Review retains the nonexclusive right to archive and re-publish any material submitted for publication.
