Open up, with reservations

Yes, we all want some normalcy back in our lives. It seems that getting back to a somewhat normal way of life — going to work, school, entertainment, socializing, etc. — will come back in gradual steps.

One industry that has been hit hard is food service and restaurants. It seems to me that we could take advantage of what many restaurants already use: reservations. Reservations could limit the number of people in house at one time and tables could be spaced appropriately. No reservation, no entry. I think that this would be a first step beyond drive-through and curb service. It’s a start.

Just a thought.
