Protesters don’t care

As of noon PST April 19, the COVID-19 death toll in the U.S. is just under 39,000. The “Protest at Idaho Capitol” article in the April 18, 2020, edition reported about a rally in Boise in which the purpose was to protest “Stay At Home” orders issued in Idaho.

The protesters’ basic rationale was that the order unconstitutionally restricted their rights to move about in the community and to conduct business whenever they desire. It is apparent that the protesters were obviously not concerned about the welfare of the community. If they were, they would realize they do NOT have the right to infect other people with a deadly virus or to cause the spread of that virus to be accelerated.
