Interesting juxtaposition

On the Opinions page of yesterday’s edition, we see another of Leonard Pitts Jr’s. typical rants about racism - this time by calling the COVID-19 pandemic “racist” because it accurately describes where it originated - in China (“To Asian Americans: It’s bigots’ problem,” April 13). Yet on the very next page there is a six-column article - plus a large photo, of an “invasive Asian giant hornet.”

So if the same rules apply, are all the entities and scientists mentioned in the article racist?
