COVID opportunity

As we sow our seeds of division and blame, becoming ever more polarized (I am not immune), my hope is that as we witness our world’s oceans and waterways, the air we breathe and other ecosystems in a brief rebound due to our giving the planet a break from our abuse, I wish to thank COVID-19 for this opportunity.

That we may learn from this that we are not dependent upon fossil fuel. That we might embrace alternative energy. That we might see our planet as the living organism she is. That we are one species among an infinity of species. That we truly are “in this together.”
