Inslee’s just doing his job

Re: Sue Lani Madsen’s column on Aug 7 - “Inslee cut lawmakers from virus decisions” - isn’t he simply taking a page out of Our Impeached President’s handbook? Seems like whenever HE can’t get what he wants from Congress, he issues an Executive Order.

And he’s not alone in that, either. George W Bush signed 291 during his time in office, and Barack Obama signed 276. So at just 176, OIP is a novice. (Of course, his number is only through 1 term. So on average he’s actually ahead - Bush at 145 and Obama at 138) So why shouldn’t Our Esteemed Governor follow similar practices? At least Inslee is trying to get something done. Unlike the aforementioned resident of 1600.
