Selective coverage

George Floyd died when he was using fentanyl. He had enough fentanyl alone in his system to cause death and was saying he was unable to breathe before any of the police touched him. He was also using methamphetamine and other drugs, and was suffering from heart disease. The autopsy stated the cause of death was pulmonary arrest and had no reference to the police or any of their actions.

The police put Floyd face-down on the ground to prevent him from choking on his own vomit, not to kill him.

Now Floyd’s death is being used as an excuse to steal and burn other people’s property. All these rioters should be punished, as well as the governors, mayors and other enablers. They should not be considered peaceful protesters.

While any death is unfortunate perhaps a more deserving protest would be for 5-year-old Cannon Hinnant, purposely shot in the head by Darius Sessoms.

Why is this murder receiving so little coverage while Floyd’s drug-induced death receives so much attention?
