Thank you, pilots

I just had to write and thank the brave helicopter pilots and crews who were tirelessly working to quell a fire somewhere close by here. I stood on the ridge today above the Spokane River north of town and watched them systematically lower down to the river to fill buckets or pump water and then fly off.

Looked amazing to me to see them dive so close to the river - fascinating. I wonder how large those buckets are or how much water they can pull up for one load. Thanks to every one of them for risking their lives to help keep us all safe. BRAVO.
