Voting against yourself

I just got a campaign letter from Cathy McMorris Rodgers. It made me wonder what planet she’s been living on.

She raves about all the wonderful things that Trump and her republican colleagues have done for our country. Like Sarah Palin, she must never read a newspaper.

Doesn’t she understand that Trump’s dismal handling of the virus has contributed to thousands of deaths? Doesn’t she know that unemployment is sky rocketing and the stock market is tanking?

Along with all the other failures, our place as the world leader; the shrinking beacon of hope, is no longer shining. The world thinks we’ve lost our senses.

Nothing said is going to change the minds of Trump and CMR voters, as many of us think of them as the proverbial “chickens voting Colonel Sanders.”
