Everyone in the region who gets KREM 2 news owes them a debt of gratitude for their VERIFY program. They are doing us all a service not provided in very many places these days. Telling us the truth instead of what they think their viewers want to hear. They have verified many stories in a calm, truthful matter using facts not half truths or lies. Thank you very much KREM for helping save our democracy in these trying times. Walter Cronkite would be proud of you!

The Spokesman-Review invites original letters on local topics of public interest. Your letter must adhere to the following rules:

No more than 250 words
We reserve the right to reject letters that are not factually correct, racist or are written with malice.
We cannot accept more than one letter a month from the same writer.
With each letter, include your daytime phone number and street address.
The Spokesman-Review retains the nonexclusive right to archive and re-publish any material submitted for publication.
