Do you really care?

Do you really care?

On Thursday, December 3rd, 2,700 people died from COVID-19 19. In one day! As of this date 275,00 people have died in 2020. There are now over 14 million confirmed cases. Where is the empathy?

A parent or grandparent is gone. Another member of your extended family or a friend has passed due to the pandemic. Where is the empathy?

If estimates are correct our country could see over 400,000 deaths by February 2021. This even with a vaccine becoming available in limited supply by year end 2020. Where is the empathy?

Congresswoman McMorris Rogers still continues to support an administration that has been a total disaster in managing the pandemic. Only last week she criticized Governor Inslee for his statewide mandates. It is more important to not offend her political base. Where is the empathy?

All is well if I am not sick nor are my friends and family dying. It is your grief and yours alone.

Where is the empathy?
