The SRHD mole

Remember “Whack-a-Mole”? The “interim” director replacing Dr. Bob Lutz, at SRHD reminds me of the mole.

The mole came to Spokane to operate and sell longtime lab company PAML which he did to a national firm to the benefit of shareholders while axing dozens of local mid- and high-level jobs. The mole pops up at functions and boards where his oversized personality belies his utter lack of public health experience let alone handling a pandemic.

The SRHD executive director, political hack French and our biased news anchor turned mayor are more concerned about bars and restaurants staying open to generate taxes than they are the welfare of Spokane County residents. The real health care professionals on the the SRHD advisory committee have resigned, leaving an open field for the executive director, commissioner and mayor to run rampant over the science and facts that the rest of us have to deal with daily to keep safe and our businesses viable.

Mr. Cowles, your choice for president will soon be unemployed. You could bring him here to oversee the COVID response as he has about as much experience as the executive director, commissioner, mayor and mole and in overseeing a pandemic. Oh, but then he, his kids and “attorney” may be frog-marched off to jail soon where all of you should be as well.

Leaders always rise to their level of incompetence while innocent people get sick and die.
