Thank you SRHD employees

Dear Spokane Regional Health District employees,

During this stressful time fighting the pandemic, I wanted to send my heartfelt thanks for all your tireless work. Public health often goes unnoticed until there is a crisis. On a daily basis you help make sure our food and water are safe. You help prevent infectious disease like measles, hepatitis and whopping cough. You advocate for healthy living, environmental health, and protection from abuse. Unfortunately, much of your good work is taken for granted.

We rely on science, our public health experts, and medical providers to help us make sound decisions and keep our families and community safe. During a pandemic this is especially important, and I just wanted to let you know the community is on your side and we are grateful for your work.
