I can’t count

I heard on CNN they’ve been keeping track of the number of lies Trump has told since his inauguration. Apparently, there now have been more than 16,000 ….

… but that got me thinking …

I’m sure I’ve never counted to 16,000. In fact nowhere near that number. Maybe I’ve counted to 200, maybe 300, passing the seconds waiting for some painful medical procedure to be over with. But even then I found myself not remembering whether I had passed through 160, or was it 180, or oh well I’m not sure I remember but it must have been close to 200 and when is this procedure going to be over with anyway, soon, please?

I don’t know anyone who ever counted up to 16,000. Does anyone know anyone who ever counted up to 16,000? I guess they only exist around CNN.
