What about Old Testament?

I would like Rod Foss to answer one question: What did he mean when he wrote (in “The Real Jesus” Jan. 19), “Whatever the Bible says, the words are His”? Is this meant to justify, in the name of Jesus, the endless cruelties of the G-d of the Old Testament? To be be more specific, was there among all those drowned in Noah’s flood not one innocent, not even one new-born baby?
