Yes for EVSD Levy

East Valley School District is currently running an Educational Programs and Operations replacement levy on the February 11th ballot. It’s imperative the levy passes.

As a parent of students currently enrolled in EV and as a community member who has served on many committees within the district, I am urging the residents within EV District to vote yes whether or not they have students currently enrolled in our schools.

Students deserve to have a strong education. By passing this levy we, as a community, are allowing for maintenance of extracurricular activities, such as music, drama and athletics, updating technology, textbooks, and classroom resources.

If you have had the opportunity to visit any of the schools within EV you have noticed schools need updating. Passing the levy will allow for some of those updates. Tax rates seem to be a deciding factor when it comes to voting. This levy will keep the tax rate consistent with what you are currently paying while providing funds for the District.

I strongly urge you to vote “YES” on the February 11th to approve the Educational Programs/Operations replacement levy and give the students of EV the schools they deserve!
