Bloomberg the strongest candidate

After reading Doug Kaer’s letter supporting Michael Bloomberg (“Bloomberg, he’s our man,” Jan. 24) as the choice for the Democratic presidential candidacy in 2020, I agree most emphatically.

In my opinion, he is the strongest and career-proven opponent of the current Democratic candidates. His record politically and fundamentally so far exceeds the accomplishments and capabilities of any of the other current candidates, from either party, and is exciting and encouraging in our divided democracy.

While I believe it is true that many of the Democratic front runners have distinguished and productive political careers, I am concerned that they may not have the stamina and competitive toughness required to defeat the tactics of the Republican candidate.

Let us collectively inform our current representatives of our concern and promote the selection of Michael Bloomberg as our candidate.
