Good at nothing

Just for fun, I took one of those tests that’s supposed to show you what you’re good at doing. You know, the kind of job you’d succeed at. As it turns out, I’m already doing what I’m good at, what I’m best suited to do. Nothing! Yup, I’m retired and doing what the test shows that I’m really good at doing. Which is a really good thing because I sure wouldn’t want to be doing a job that I’m not good at. We have enough folks out there doing stuff they probably shouldn’t, stuff they are not good at.

I wonder if a test like this would be a good thing to run by the Democrats in the House of Representatives. Maybe they could find out, like me, that they’re really cut out for, well, how can I put this other than to say, nothing.

But who am I kidding? Those are educated folks. I’m sure that by now, they must already know that they are good for nothing. Heck, they’ve been functioning at that high standard for several years.

Seriously though, I’m glad I took that test because it show s that I’m probably functioning at the same level as those officials. That makes me feel just great.
