Lincoln in our midst

Every so often, we have before us an opportunity to unite the people in a chorus of freedom. We have a chance to cast aside our differences and fight for a common good, whether our affiliations be red/blue, Repub/Dem, or all in between. We have a chance to join one another in a common purpose, not AGAINST one another, but FOR one another.

We have such an opportunity before us today, and her name is Tulsi Gabbard. Representative Gabbard is a major in the Army National Guard who is running for president on the Democratic ticket in 2020. She has fought relentlessly against U.S. involvement in unnecessary wars, along with the abuse of presidential powers to entangle our nation likewise. She proposes a Single Payer Plus health care system, with universal coverage and private optionality, and she has sponsored some of the most robust environmental legislation to date. Tulsi truly puts the health and well-being of our nation first, and her allegiance is to We the People, undivided.

You don’t have to watch many of Tulsi’s speeches or town halls to know she is genuinely there for the American people. Tulsi stands unequivocally for the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights, handing out copies at all of her campaign events. She is fighting to restore a government Of, By, and For the People, and in Tulsi Gabbard, I truly believe we have a Lincoln in our midst…
