No to value-free sex ed bills

Tell your legislators to just say NO! to the comprehensive sex ed bills HB2184 and SB5395. These are extreme value-free, age-inappropriate, pornographic, LGBTQ and Planned Parenthood-mandated indoctrination for K-12th graders. For instance, teaching children to avoid STDs by using Saran Wrap during oral sex may be “medically accurate,” but it sends a destructive message.

Instead, ask your legislators to support HB2648. This bill would at least give equal time to the value and benefits of abstinence and allow parents to opt out. One positive aspect of this education is seen in the bill’s definition of sexual risk avoidance: “… designed to encourage avoidance instead of reduction of risky behavior, such as underage drinking or the use of illegal drugs. Sexual risk avoidance education teaches that avoiding sexual activity before marriage is the surest way to avoid its risks. It also encourages youth to pursue good decision-making skills. Sexual risk avoidance education normalizes the optimal health behavior of avoiding nonmarital sexual activity …”

Parents, not schools or school-based health clinics (SB6279), have the primary right and duty to protect their children. Don’t let the radical left rob our children of their future health, psychological well-being and economic success.
